POLICE have urged residents to call 999 if they see a Barnsley man wanted in connection with reports of numerous offences including rape.
Bradley Hunt, 35, committed the majority of offences - which also include non-fatal strangulation, theft and burglary - between October 16 and December 7.
Officers have been carrying out numerous enquiries to locate Hunt including multiple address checks, speaking to his known associates and other tactics.
They are now asking for residents’ help and urged anyone who sees him to call 999.
A spokesperson said: “We believe Hunt, who frequents areas across Barnsley, is aware that he is wanted and is actively evading our officers.
“As such, we are now keen to speak to anyone who has seen or heard from Hunt or knows where he may be staying.
“He is described as a white man who is of a slim build with brown or slightly ginger hair.
“He is believed to have facial stubble and is around 5ft 9ins tall.
“If you see Hunt, please do not approach him and instead dial 999 immediately.
“If you have information which could help us find him, you can report online or by calling 101.
“Please quote investigation number 14/181462/25 when you get in touch.
“We understand that not everyone wants to speak directly to police.
“If this is you, please be aware that you can report information completely anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website.
“You will not be asked to provide any details and no one will know you have contacted them.”
