BARNSLEY Football Club visited Barnsley Hospice to boost Christmas spirit last week.
First-team players Reyes Cleary and Georgie Gent were among those in attendance.
Tom Masters entertained residents while Nathanael Ogbeta was on the guitar.
A hospice spokesperson said: “Thank you so much to the Barnsley Football Club for coming to the hospice today for another Christmas visit - and sing-song.
“The players kindly took the time to sit, chat and take pictures with our patients and staff, and even handed out handwritten cards and Christmas chocolates.
“With some big Reds fans under our roof, it really makes such a difference and brings lots of smiles to faces during the festive season.
“A special thank you also to our friend Tom Masters, who joined us to bring some musical joy and get everyone in the spirit.”
