Jake Rooney’s loan at Barnsley from Derby County has ended.

The defender played just once in the league, coming off at half-time at Doncaster in November.

Head coach Conor Hourihane told the club website: “Jake has been a pleasure to work with. His attitude in training, willingness to learn, and application in matches have been outstanding. He gave everything for the shirt and conducted himself brilliantly throughout his loan spell. We wish him nothing but success moving forward.”
