A TEENAGE boxer from Smithies has set his sights on the Olympics having bagged his second national title.
Martin ‘Boy’ Quinn, 15, rounded off another dazzling tilt at the National Junior Championships by becoming the 44kg champion by toppling Southampton’s Charlie Hammett.
It comes after the youngster - who is under the guidance of Sheffield-based trainer Oleksandr Pohodin - previously won the 42kg title.
His dad, also called Martin, told the Chronicle: “Hopefully he’ll go on to represent England in the Europeans next.
“He’s a Barnsley-born lad, we’re very proud of him and he’s setting his sights on the Olympics.”
