OLIVER Rowland is due to compete in Monaco this weekend as he continues his defence of the Formula E title.
The 32-year-old from Penistone is currently fourth in the overall standings, 18 points behind the leader, having finished on the podium in five of the first eight races without winning one.
There are races on Saturday and Sunday.
Rowland said: “Monaco is a circuit that I’ve always enjoyed as it’s a complex lap with some brilliant corners, particularly through the swimming pool section.
“We were strong there last season, which is a positive, but we know since then the field has got closer.
“We’ll aim to keep on improving over one lap and build on our recent performances. I feel confident.”
