A BARNSLEY-born hairstylist who counts the Beckhams and Kardashians among his clientele has bagged a top award nomination.
Pete Burkill has been announced as a mominee for session hairdresser of the year at HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards.
It is one of the industry’s most respected and sought-after accolades, recognising artists whose work shapes trends, drives creative direction and consistently delivers outstanding visual story-telling through hair.
Pete said: “It’s so exciting to be nominated being born and raised in Barnsley to styling hair for incredible global talents has been an amazing journey.
“Session styling is such a dynamic and creatively rewarding part of the industry and I’m constantly inspired by the opportunity to collaborate, innovate and tell stories through hair.
“To receive recognition on this level is something I’m really humbled by.”
The awards ceremony, held at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London, will take place in November.
