A YOUNG Champions finalist wheeled out the big guns to round up support for his bid to be crowned Young Entertainer in our Young Champions awards.
Finley Clayton, ten, is already making great strides in his fledgling career as a showbiz reporter, having been named one of Heart radio’s Showbiz Kids.
It has given him the chance to interview the likes of Claudia Winkleman and powerhouse vocalist and actor, Hugh Jackman.
One of his biggest fans is breakfast show co-presenter Amanda Holden and on Tuesday, she urged listeners to vote for Finley in our online vote
Finley’s proud mum, Rachel, said: “It was lovely news. We found out one of Finley’s teaching assistants got in touch with Heart to make it happen and he was thrilled to hear Amanda shouted him out.
“We’re so proud of him, he’s taken everything in his stride and this is so exciting for him.
“He’s really excited about tonight’s awards ceremony, but he’s just proud to have been nominated.”
