BARNSLEY chairman and majority owner Neerav Parekh has been named on the EFL board.
Parekh and Peterborough’s Darragh MacAnthony have been elected as League One ‘divisional representatives’ by member clubs.
The FA says the board is responsible for determining long-term strategy, enforcing the rules plus negotiating sponsorship and television deals.
There were vacancies because Liam Scully of Lincoln City and Julian Tagg of Exeter City saw their clubs promoted and relegated respectively.
