A section of Worsborough Road, Blacker Hill, will be closed for about three days from Monday.
The upper section of the road between the Royal Albert Public House and 36 Worsborough Road will close to allow work on a sewer connection.
An alternative route along Wentworth Road will be available while the works are taking place.
