A knock of 87 from Furqan Shafiq helped Hoylandswaine to a successful score of 290 in their 80-run win over Moorlands.
The score came off just 55 balls and was supported by Arron Lilley’s 56.
Samit Patel then did the business with the ball as he took five for 46 to secure the win - their 13th out of 14 in the Huddersfield League Premiership.
They are now 18 points clear of second placed Scholes.
Conference Hoylandswaine 2nd XI won by seven wickets against Emley Clarence.
Opener Asif Iqbal’s unbeaten 120 guided them to victory.
