THE new ultra-high performance Audi R8 can be ordered later this year at a cost of £77,000.
It combines classic mid-engine configuration with advanced all-aluminium space frame construction and the reassurance of quattro permanent four-wheel-drive.
Power comes from a 4.2-litre V8 engine developing 420 bhp, 0-60mph coming in 4.6 seconds and can reach 187mph. There is a six-speed gearbox.
