A NEW exhibition by Ardsley artist Tony Heald, inspired by the cathedrals in the twin cities of York and Munster in Germany, will be opened by the Lord Mayor of York this month.
The Space to Reflect exhibition contains over 75 pieces in graphite, oil and watercolour. It will be part of a year’s celebration of the bicentenary of the cities’ partnership.
Although the exhibition is based on cathedrals, Mr Heald said he was not inspired by religion but by the buildings themselves.
