POLICE are investigating allegations that a teenage student was violently attacked by a senior member of staff at Barnsley College.
Animal Care student Paige King told investigating police officers the alleged attack took place in a classroom at Wigfield Farm in front of other students and staff.
Paige, 17, of Aldham House Lane, Wombwell, says she was talking in class when a staff member grabbed her by the hair.
Colin Booth, principal of Barnsley College, said the college is looking into it.
