HOYLAND hairdresser Jay Swift is swapping his scissors for a parachute when he does a charity skydive with two fund-raising friends.
Jay, 46, of Barfield Road, Hoyland, works at His and Hers Barbers in Eldon Street, Barnsley. He is warming up for the stunt which will be in Lincolnshire on July 4. All proceeds will be going to Barnsley Hospice.
Jay said donations and sponsorship for the skydive were going well. "We had one customer who donated £100," he said. He added he liked flying and had always wanted to do a skydive."
