THERE'S not many people in this world who can say they took on action hero Jackie Chan and won - but cinematic composer Chris Haigh has.

Chris, 34, of Elsecar, has been awarded a share of tens of thousands of pounds after music he had written was illegally used in a trailer to promote Jackie's film Dragon Blade.

A settlement was reached out of court after the company which made the trailer admitted full responsibility.

Chris said: "I'm very happy with the outcome. I did hear that Jackie Chan was aware of what had happened but he and the studio put the blame on the company which made the trailer."
