A BARNSLEY engineer has designed and built a car which has twice the power to weight ratio of some of the world’s most powerful and most expensive supercars.
Allan Bowker has spent a year and-a-half and more than £75,000 handcrafting his perfect car which he keeps securely at a ‘secret workshop.’
Allan hopes to pitch his car against the Red Bull F1 Car at next year’s CarFest North, in Cheshire, organised by the new Top Gear host.
He has turned down countless offers to sell the car, including one offer of £100,000 from a man in Dubai.
