A CUDWORTH couple are bravely preparing for Christmas despite the tragic death of their teenage daughter who suffered from a rare genetic condition.
Trinity Anderson suffered from Rett Syndrome - which affects just one in 10,000 - as well as severe epilepsy, recurring chest infections and scoliosis.
She died at home in her sleep last Monday, aged 13.
Her parents Sara and Matthew, of Storrs Wood View, are trying to come to terms with their loss as well as making sure their other two children, Bobby, seven, and D’arcy, five, still enjoy Christmas.
Trinity’s funeral will be held on New Year’s Eve at Barnsley Crematorium at 12.50pm.
Sara and Matthew have requested mourners wear a piece of bright clothing.
