A 287-SIGNATURE petition has been handed in to the council by a Staincross resident for traffic calming measures in the village amid fears someone could be killed.
John Race has lived on Staincross Common for 20 years and has seen a number of accidents on the junction of Paddock Road and Staincross Common with Shaw Lane.
The petition comes after his neighbour’s wall was demolished by a car.
