LORD David Blunkett has officially opened Barnsley College’s new construction centre, also known as the Cube.
The new £10.8m building, which opened to students last September, is based at the college’s Honeywell campus.
It includes specialist equipment, machinery and workshops for courses ranging from bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, dry lining, painting and decorating to plastering and wall and floor tiling.
