SIMON Waldock admits he’s not had the best of luck with bikes, he’s in terrible physical shape and has absolutely no stamina.

So the 24-year-old has come up with the perfect charity challenge for himself - he’s going to cycle from London to Paris to raise money for Barnsley hospice.

On the face of it the 299 miles he has to ride over four days through the UK and France might be an impossible task.

But the plucky cameraman reckons his ineptitude might even get him a few more sponsors and says his daily tweets of his progress when he tackles the ride in July will almost certainly amuse some people.
