HUNDREDS of pounds have been raised by a man who organised a charity music festival after both his mother and best friend died after suffering strokes.
Andrew Whitehead decided he wanted to raise funds for the Stroke Association by organising an all day rock concert.
He called it Fast Fest as FAST is the acronym used to remind people what to check if they suspect someone may have suffered a stroke.
