POT House Hamlet has another little waif it is looking after.
Nancy, the Shropshire lamb, was rejected by her mum and is now being reared by adoptive ‘mum’ and hamlet owner Tom Horsfield.
It comes just over a year after the centre had to step in to rear orphaned pygmy goat Benji, who has now become a minor celebrity due to press coverage.
At four weeks old, Nancy needs regular bottle feeds from Tom starting at 6am each day - using formula milk specially prepared for lambs’ needs - until last thing at night.
