SOME of the country’s strongest men are descending on Barnsley to battle it out in a Highland Games style competition.
Dorothy Hyman sports stadium at Cudworth is providing the backdrop for the event when it muscles into town on Sunday, September 25.
The competitors aren’t your average guys - weighing in at more than 20 stone, able to lift a car and pull two Land Rovers attached to each other - they will be competing over six gruelling superhuman feats of strength to be crowned winner.
