THERE has been a significant increase in antisocial behaviour incidents reported in the town centre, councillors have been told.
A report on Barnsley Council’s performance between April and June this year shows 280 town centre ASB incidents were reported - up significantly from the 235 reports made between February to March.
Cabinet members met last Wednesday to discuss the performance report which says the increase in incidents relates to targeted intervention taking place by the council and police.
