A LORRY driver who became trapped inside the cab after his 40-tonne lorry overturned on the Dearne Valley Parkway near Hoyland was rescued by two passing window cleaners.
Dominic Willis and Billy Wilkinson were on their way to a job in Wombwell when they came across the stricken driver.
The lorry overturned on to the passenger side early on Monday morning and the driver was suspended in the driver’s seat, unable to get out.
The quick-thinking duo sprung in to action, keeping the panicking man calm and lowering down their ladders into the cab to get him out.
