A DEVELOPMENT of new homes has been given the go-ahead in Dodworth despite concerns about traffic safety.
The decision means that up to 51 new houses could be built on the site off Green Road, but details of the layout and other issues will be the subject of a more detailed application later.
However, the site has been the subject of concerns over traffic safety because of the layout and use of Green Road, which would be the access point to the development.
There have been nine letters of objection to the plans from people living in the area.
