BARNSLEY’S most poorly children will get a helping hand from a spiritual medium who is collecting toys.
Pietro Politano is accepting donations of toys from dolls, to teddy bears to jigsaws, which will be donated to the children’s ward at Barnsley Hospital.
Pietro, 37, of Oakwell, said: “Supporting children is close to my heart. I’m not a parent myself, but it’s about being able to see children grow and develop.
“We’re collecting the toys for the children’s ward and they will go to the children who have to stay in hospital over Christmas.
“We’ve had about 20 toys donated already.”
