BRIAN Blessed enjoyed a trip into his theatrical past in Goldthorpe.
The actor, who was born in the town and is patron of the Dearne Playhouse, returned to the theatre for one night only last month.
An Evening With Brian Blessed was held to help raise funds for the Playhouse, which became a charitable organisation last year.
Hosted by Wath’s Cast Academy co-director Amy Parker, Brian reminisced about his time on stage and screen and his Barnsley upbringing.
