IT has been a long, tough road for little Aalish Naylor.
The seven-year-old was diagnosed with neuroblastoma just over a year ago and has been undergoing treatment.
This week she started her fifth and final cycle of immunotherapy treatment at Sheffield Children’s Hospital which will help her body recognise and fight cancerous cells in the future.
It involves a regular cycle of injections and a ten-day antibody treatment which helps her immune system.
Her mum Jo is now looking forward to the day when Aalish can ring the all-important bell at the children’s hospital to signal she is in remission.
