BLUNDERBUS Theatre Group is to perform Elmer the Elephant at Mapplewell and Staincross Village Hall.

The play follows the story of a patchwork elephant who thinks everyone is laughing at him because he is different and tries to make himself like other elephants.

It has been organised as part of the Barnsley Diversity festival which celebrates different communities and individual cultures in Barnsley.

The play will be staged on Saturday, September 8 and starts at 2.30pm.
