SINGER Kate Rusby has performed at major folk festivals and sold out venues around the world.
But playing in front of friends and family in Cawthorne tomorrow will be more daunting than all of them.
Kate is playing the outdoor gig at Cannon Hall farm tomorrow to raise cash for the cricket club and other village charities.
She said: "It's always a bit scary when you do home gigs because you look out and you know the majority of the audience, whether it's old teachers, family or friends. They are always the scariest concerts."
Even so Kate, 33, can't wait to get on stage.
"This is the third time we've done the cricket club concert and I'm really looking forward to it, we always have such a lovely time. Everybody walks back into the village together."
