Elsecar woman Nadine Bolds risked her life to help another and now her bravery has been rewarded for her courage.
Nadine was woken by a disturbance early on Sunday November 27 last year.
She got up and looked through the window and Nadine saw 29-year-old neighbour Neil Bailey, of Gray Street, Elsecar, attacking a 25-year-old man, with a large pickaxe handle.
Nadine immediately ran from her house to try and stop the fight.
