THOSE responsible for a spate of break-ins could be banned from the town centre.
Police are working to identify and arrest a number of ‘key offenders’ following the break-ins at pubs and businesses.
The Chronicle revealed last week how frustrated landlords had called for more police officers and better CCTV.
Danny Stuart, who runs Chambers, said there had been at least 50 break-ins and attempted break-ins over the last four to six weeks.
