SIX MEN dressed as the ladies of the cabaret, Moulin Rouge, took part in a charity bar crawl on Saturday to raise money for prostate cancer.
Chris England, 32, started managing The White Bear pub on Ballfield Lane, Kexbrough, at the beginning of July and has been raising money there over the last three weeks.
Lyndon Pick, 46, of Ladymead, Monk Bretton, sparked the idea by turning up at the pub dressed up as a woman and at the Grey Horse in Old Town after being offered £60 for the charity if he did it. He decided to donate the money to prostate cancer research as his father has the disease.
‘I’m always happy to make a fool of myself and have some fun. It’s even better if it’s for a good cause and a charity,” he said.
