SHE walked into the Dragons’ Den and came home with a pot of gold.

And the yarn of how she did it will be told in Barnsley for years to come.

That’s because Barnsley craft entrepreneur Claire Gelder has stitched up a £50,000 deal with two of Britain’s leading business tycoons following a successful appearance on the hit BBC TV show, Dragons’ Den.

On Sunday Claire, founder of artisan woolcraft business Wool Couture, based at Barnsley Business and Innovation Centre at Wilthorpe, secured a joint deal with retail magnate Touker Suleyman and new dragon Tej Lalvani, the man behind Britain’s most successful vitamins company.
