WINTER hours for waste and recycling centres come into effect on Sunday.
The opening times and locations are: Smithies Lane, Barnsley, 9am to 4pm; Highgate Lane, Goldthorpe, 9am to 4pm; Springvale, Penistone, 9am to 4pm; West Street, Worsbrough, 8am to 4pm.
These times will remain in place until the end of March 2018. The centres are open 362 days a year, closing only on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
