A MURDER charge in relation to a cold case could be brought against an elderly man who is already facing charges of rape and false imprisonment.
The case of Peter Pickering, 80, of Berkshire, whose rape and false imprisonment charges relate to a 18-year-old woman in Deepcar in 1972, was adjourned at Leeds Crown Court yesterday.
Pickering was remanded into custody and the case will be heard on November 1.
