A BARNSLEY beauty is off to the Dorchester tomorrow to compete in the finals of a supermodel competition.
Katharine Brearley, 16, will strutt her stuff on the catwalk at the hotel to try to impress the judges from one of the world’s top model agencies.
The Barnsley College fashion student entered the competition in a national newspaper last month and had to send two photographs of herself.
Katharine of Warren Lane, Staincross had forgotten all about the contest until she got a phone call last week to say she had made the final 30 girls.
If she makes the grade she could win a $250, 000 modelling contract and will be flown to New York to take part in the Supermodel of the World search.
