MEET athletic beauty Amanda Shaw - Walkabout Bikini Babe 2007.
The 23-year-old fitness instructor and athlete, won the bikini contest at the Nightclub on Friday night beating off stiff competition from five other bikini-clad belles.
When asked what she had to offer the the competition, Amanda simply turned around and shook her behind at the crowd to huge cheers.
Amanda, of Sycamore Street, will represent Barnsley at a national final with a ‘life-changing prize’ up for grabs.
She said: “I absolutely loved it. I’ve worked hard for my body and I wanted to know if everybody else liked it.
“I hoped it might be an opportunity for me because I have done a little bit of modelling before, but my main ambition is my athletics. I want to run in the Commonwealth games.”
Second placed was 24-year-old dancer and model Hayley B. Although used to performing, she said it was terrifying to stand before the Friday night Walkabout crowd of random strangers. She said: “I was really nervous but I’m glad I entered.”
