BARNSLEY’S free Christmas park and ride scheme will begin next month.

Shoppers will be able to leave their cars at the Peel Centre, adjacent to Harborough Hill Road, and catch a bus to the interchange on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The buses will run every eight minutes between 8.30am and 5pm from Wednesday November 14.
