A GRIMETHORPE firm will not face criminal charges after a teenager was killed while playing with friends in a quarry.
Popular Amber Worth, 13, was crushed to death by a boulder in an accident at the quarry on April 25 last year.
Police have completed a nine-month investigation and the Crown Prosecution Service has reviewed the police file and ruled there is insufficient evidence to bring charges of gross negligence or manslaughter against Carlton Brick.
Her parents, Kate Roystone and Mark Worth, have called for a meeting for the CPS to explain their findings because they believe the report is flawed.
Kate, of Park Avenue, Brierley, rubbished the document which refers to each individual's role within the company but doesn't detail what happened.
