EX-PUSSYCAT Doll Kimberly Wyatt will be in Barnsley to support a new dancing festival next month.
The former pop star is now a TV personality and judge on CBBC dance competition, Taking the Next Step.
The council-organised festival, Dancing Town, is a legacy of the popular TV programme, Our Dancing Town, based on Barnsley which was broadcast last year, and will take place from August 10 to 19.
A council spokesman said: “We are delighted Kimberly is coming for the special dance festival.
“It’s so exciting for the town and will I hope the Barnsley people will come out in force to support the festival.”
