MORE than 100 members of a Birdwell dance school took part in a competition recently.
The dancers from the Lisa Wood School on Sheffield Road travelled to the Redcar Ball to compete in ballroom and Latin categories in all age ranges, from three-year-olds to the over 50s.
A total of 35 first places were picked up at the event last Sunday, including four for Vicky Ellison Bywater, 40.
Five-year-old Holly Smith won a first and two third places.
