A boy got stuck on the roof of the old Athersley sports pavilion on Monday night.
He was said to be about nine-years-old and Royston fire-fighters were called to help him down at 9pm.
A fire-service spokesman said he was not injured but had been given a talking to about the dangers of climbing onto buildings.
