TRAPEZE artists and giants are will be the acts at the town centre summer carnival and parade.
Urban Angels, a circus company-style act, will perform trapeze in Cheapside at 1 and 3pm and dancing giants will perform in Peel Square at 11.30, 12.30 and 3.30pm.
The carnival and parade will be officially opened by the Mayor, Coun Ken Sanderson.
He said: "The summer carnival is a great opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate Barnsley and the people who live throughout the borough, as well as having an enjoyable family day."
