BOOZING is to be banned in Doncaster Road and Sheffield Road areas after street parties led to fighting and graves were trashed in the cemetery.
Police have gathered enough evidence to impose a section 12 order, which bans drinking in public places in Cemetery Road, Oxford Street, Corporation Street, Commercial Street, Tune Street and Pindar Oaks Street.
Officers are now compiling a case for the same legislation to apply to Doncaster Road from Brinckman Street to the new Strata Estate.
