BARNSLEY celebrities will be the theme of the Local History Fair at the town hall next Saturday.
The Barnsley Archives has recently acquired some papers relating to one celebrity, the late Charlie Williams. Mayor Coun Ken Sanderson will officially open the fair. The Yorkshire Film Archive will show some local film footage.
The free event runs from 10 until 3 on Saturday October 11.
