DOGS will be the guests of honour at a special 'welcome dog day' at the Elsecar Heritage Centre tomorrow.
The idea is to promote the new open policy and encourage responsible dog owners to bring their pets to the external parts of the site.
There will be dog charity and rescue stands providing advice to the public and the Northern Schnauzer Club championship dog show will be on in building 21.
Public entry is free, but only competition dogs will be allowed into the building.
