BERNESLAI Homes is booting a pensioner out of his rented garages after 50 years' tenancy.
Gordon Taylor, of Longfields Drive, Darton, has three garages on the Longfields site which is now for sale.
Berneslai Homes, which manages the site for the council, has given the 78-year-old and other tenants just four weeks' notice because not enough people are using the site.
The land is being auctioned off on March 10 by the council - despite Gordon paying rent in advance until the end of March for his three garages.
