KIRK Balk School could get a new name to go with its revamp - and you could be the person to choose it.
Views are being sought over whether to rename the school when the new building is completed in two years' time.
Chairman of governors Michael Sanderson said the new school would be very different from today's Kirk Balk which is why they were considering renaming it.
He is to asking parents, staff and students - past and present - if they had any ideas. "There are good reasons for changing the name and for keeping it," he said.
Members of the public have two weeks to offer their suggestions by either calling the main office on 742286 or e-mail kbschool@barnsley.org.
